Roses with Red Chair – Horace Pippin 1940

The first day I met you was the beginning of my life. You came into the room and everyone knew. To say you illuminated my world would be an understatement.

Everyday I spent with you was a journey, an experience. You took the most ordinary things and gave them extraordinary meanings. You transformed my dull and vague existence into a colourful, vibrant and vivid life.

I loved you with every fibre of my being, and you loved me too. A love so powerful, no distance or time could separate us. It was all consuming, you were ready to risk it all for me, and I was ready to do the same.

It was intoxicatingly good, yet it was pure. A true and honest love, you did not try to make me someone I wasn’t, and I did not try to force myself on you. We were harmonious, complementing each other.

Days turned into months, turned into years, turned into a lifetime. A lifetime of loving, growing and giving. An adventure, an ethereal experience. A lifetime of ups and downs, good and bad. A lifetime of you. And it all started when I saw you while was sitting in the red chair in front of the roses.
Hey everyone! Day five. Wow, almost done 😁. If you enjoyed reading this don’t forget to like, share, comment and reblog. Feedback is always welcome, so don’t be shy. Ciao lovelies
